These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SmartUnscramble (the "Site"), including all word tools, content, and features made available at smartunscramble.com. By using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

3. Intellectual Property

All content on SmartUnscramble — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, tool interfaces, code, and the selection and arrangement of word data — is owned by or licensed to SmartUnscramble and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

The word lists and dictionary data used by SmartUnscramble are derived from publicly available lexicographic sources including standard Scrabble dictionaries (TWL and SOWPODS). The underlying software, design, and editorial content are proprietary to SmartUnscramble.

4. User Conduct

You agree to use SmartUnscramble in a manner consistent with all applicable laws and in good faith. You agree not to:

  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity, performance, or availability of the Site or its servers
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site, its servers, or related systems
  • Transmit any malicious code, viruses, or harmful content to or through the Site
  • Use the Site to harass, harm, or exploit other individuals
  • Impersonate SmartUnscramble or misrepresent your affiliation with the Site

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SmartUnscramble, its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

In no event shall SmartUnscramble's total liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to your use of the Site exceed $100 USD.
